Lemoyne - if this powder was readily ignited with a percussion cap, I think I would overlook the price to be able to leave my barrel fouled for hunting over extended periods. I'd shoot one of the others at the range all year long then go to this just before the season. I've heard caps aren't hot enough though to ignite it.

10 grains of gorex screws up the idea of that non crossive properties.
Might just as well use the cheaper stuff.

I think If I was so worried about what gorex, T7 and other subs were doing to my rifle & the cleaning,I would just go buy a Savage Smokeless rifle. Pay about $18.00 a pound for powder and I could even be lazy and never clean the thing.
