RE: Decent shooting single shot pistol
Hate to admit it, but I bought the kit 4 or 5 years ago and it has never been really "finished". I fit everything together, slapped some linseed oil on the stock, did a very rough job of cold blue on the metal parts, and went to the range. It shot so good I hate to do anything else to it! I did add a set of f/o sights (designed and sold for Lyman rifles) to the barrel so I could shoot a little more accurately with it.
At 25 yards it prints some impressive groups if I do my part. I can even bounce empty pop cans around at 50 yards, butat 50 yardsthe bullet is dropping quickly.
