WOW! Anyone notice cabelas prices on powerbelts? Price went from $16.99 to $21.99! Just went on now to order some so i could try out the platinums, didnt order them! Cabelas is getting greedy it seems. Its cheaper to order them straight from powerbeltbullets.com

Well I have complained for a long time that while a powerbelt used properly might be a great hunting load, easy to carry, easy to reload, and very accurate in some rifles, their price was out of line. I cast bullets. I understand the metal prices have jumped through the roof on some metals. Yet when I read your post, I have decided that powerbelts are no longer on my "to shoot" list. I will stick with other more cost effective projectiles.

its only gonna get worse. ive seen ammo prices across the board jump. 3 years ago i could get 338 win mag ammo at around 30$ a box. it is now 50$. the only company i see with decent prices for ammo or bulk reloading supplies is hornady. federal is gonna get less of my money.the way they keep raising prices is sick.

all of their bullets are pricey now! $23 for shockwaves!
Great plains went from 8.99 to 12.99.
I wish the deer creek would shoot maxiballs, i can get them for $6.49 a box at a local store.

The gunshop that I get my stuff from sells the normal powerbelts for $21.99 for the 295gr or less, the 348gr are $26.99 thats for the hollow points. He doesn't carry the aero tips or the platinums. The BPS in Toronto sells there's for around the same.

I heard you better stock up on primers again as well...Maybe I better get me
a M of 209's before they sky-rocket
And another reason I got two different bullet molds to make my own..They
may not be as accurate but a lot cheaper to shoot so more time for load
development..God bless America
