Disassemble the rifle and take off the excess grease from the factory from all parts. Put a light coat of gun oil on moving parts, bore, and exterior. For the breech plug, use anti-seize lube on the threads before reassembling. Dry patch the barrel before you shoot, and enjoy.

Also remember to just Snug tighten the breech plug. Dont go all crazy on it or else it will seize up on you. I use the term "Finger tight"
