Same in AR with the purple paint, wish they would go to that in MS, easy to do and hard to vandalize. also easier to see when you go all the way around the tree/post.

I was in a club in AR many years ago that was having alot of trouble with poachers. One weekend when I was there they vandalized a gate but were gone before we got there. A few days later after I had returned home they were caught poaching on the adjacent clubs land. When the club members blocked the only road in order to confront them (they had called the law but the law hadn't shown up yet) the poachers shot at the club member truck putting a bullet through the center of their windshield; luckily there wasn't anybody sitting in the middle of the seat. The club members returned fire with one shot to the center of the poachers vehicle, the poacher sitting in the middle of the seat of the poachers vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene and the other two poachers were charged with everything they could charge them with. I never did hear what happened when they went to court. the shooting was concidered self defense and no charges were brought against the club member. That was the last year I was in that club but from what I understand neither club had any trouble with tresspassers/poachers in the following years.
