only luck I have is bad luck

lets see, 2 broken scopes, one barrel needing to be refloated, bad weather, and just no luck pulling the trigger. that covers my season so far.
went to the range this morning, could not get the new scope on paper at all, my bore sighting sucks. I am going to a gun shop and getting it bore sighted. about ready to give up for the rest of the season and start working on it after the first of the year.
Someone hold me

Sell your inline and buy a sidelock. Update it with fiber optics. Dont have to worry about plastic stocks, scopes, will it shoot a conical or sabot? Will it be on sight for sure?
Sidelocks are so much easier IMO.
How much is left of your season?

T/C NewEnglander- and it shoots Lee REALs and/or a.458 cast 350 grain bullets in an MMP orange sabot as well as most inlines I've owned. The only complaint I can think of is thatI can't unload it by unscrewing the breech plug and shoving the load out the breech, but then as easy as it is to clean it's no big problem to just fire it off.

Actually you can remove the breechplug and push out the load. The factory just doesnt recommend it. And you shouldnt have to push the load out, You're supposed to shoot the load at the game you're hunting!
