These uni-core are very good bullets... the diameter is .451 instead of the .452 and the BC drops back to .199, and the sectional density is a little less- but I personally would shoot these all day vs the .452/300 XTP. The bonded jacket makes that a no brainer...

I got a box of those Hornady 300 grain .45 cal Mags that I've been debating using on my third deer of the year. They don't look to me that they are going to expand as well as the Speer 300 grain SP. Most likely will just use the SP. They worked real good on the two deer this year.
