Hi- I bought a TC Omega last night and was hoping to get some recommendations on a quality load for whitetail. I plan on using 777 loose powder but past that dont know if I should be using patched roundball, sabots, or conicals. Any help would be greatly apprciated. Thanks

100 grains of Triple Se7en 2f powder and a 250 grain Shockwave. Try that load and the rifle should tune in pretty fast. Also that would be all you would need to take a whitetail deer. Maybe later down the road you can experiemnt with different loads, powders and bullets, but that should get you started. I like the Remington Kleenbore Primers when I shoot loose powder and Winchester W209 when I shoot pellets.

I have a TC Omega and I shoot 300g Nosler Partition, 100g of loose 777 and Crushed Rib sabot, with a Winchester primer. I get about 2.5" groups with that combination in my Omega. Also a 300g Gold Dot works well, same sabot, same 100g of 777. Chap Gleason

Just be sure to swab between shots. It will help with loading and accuracy.
