Last year I bought two different sets and one was damaged on arrival the other developed a crack near the frame about two weeks after purchasing. They was able to refund my money so I ordered the syth. thumbhole and it turns out that was the best move ever. It's easier to carry, lighter and you can get a better hold. I've just recently purchased the MZ forened from them to match and it came quickly and perfect. As far as the company goes there great. I just unfornately got a hold of a couple of bad stocks. They are pretty but if you hunt alot and cover alot of ground by the end of the day you'd wish you had a lighter gun.

Do the stocks come with a recoil pad ??
If i don't get a new stock , i definitely will be getting a limb saver recoil pad , because the stock pad seems to collapse. My encore is so light , it's a butt kicker compared to my Tradition pursuit pro that i sold . So the extra weight might be nice !! Bit i did notice how nice it was to carry around the woods this season !! I shot a box of 300 grain sst sabots yesterday and boy my shoulder is sore . I ran out of XTPs , so thought i would try a box of the SSTs , but could not get them to group . I tried 90 , 95, 100 , and 105 grains of Pyrodex RS and could not get them to shoot in the same spot twice. I also tried some Havester scorpion funnel points in 300 grain with crush rib sabots . Boy do they load easy !! Got the best group with them using 105 grains of powder . But but i still did not get a group like i have with the 300 grain XTPs mags . I have 100 rounds of the XTPs coming from Cabela's,and some crush rib sabots to trywith them .

I don't have a stock form this company, but my Encore came with a laminated thumbhole stock and I had to replace it once already due to a crack behind the hammer. I really do like the laminated stock and the extra weight really tames the max loads that I shoot. I have yet to have a sore shoulder after my shooting sessions and the recoil pad works great that came with the gun. If you want to tame the kick go to the wood stocks and it will take some of the bite out of your rifle, but it does get heavy to carry aound in the mountains when elk hunting. Overall well worth the extra weight to tame the killer!
