Default Saw a wolf kill a doe today

Got to my stand at 6 am. started seeing deer at 7 am. Had a small 5 point walk directly under my stand. Decided to wait. 10 minutes later 12 does ran by me. didn't see anything else for four hours. Was getting ready to get down and saw a doe about 80 yards away through thick brush. Well to thick to shoot through anyway. Couldn't think of anything else to do but give a bleep from my grunt call. 10 minutes later she appeared about 20 yards away from me. shouldered my cva wolf and shot. perfect lung shot. Once I get the pics back I'll post em. I also got some before and after shots of the tc cheap shots. for all who question them, they do the job. But anyways. Thats how I got to see a wolf kill a doe today.

sorry if the title was misleading.

A great story.. you had me at the title. Congratulations on taking the doe. It sounds like you made a perfect shot. It is always nice when everything comes together like that...

haha... sorry guys... I wanted to put a title that would draw peoples attention. As far as the load goes. Well, I used 90 grains of American Pioneer loose with a 240 grain saboted TC Cheap Shot. Its a soft lead bullet. I found the bullet in between the rib cage and hide on the other side of the deer from where I shot. I think it went through both lungs and then some. I do feel alittle bad though because she let out this scream as she died. I've never seen or heard anything like it. Anyways, that load put her down for goods and quick. Now if I can just find that little bucks grandpa or even father. The wolf is still hungry for bigger deer.
