UC

Sounds like another use for empty toilet paper rolls
I never thought of that... it is an excellent cheap idea empty TP rolls for a sunshade on the end of the scope...

Way-to-go UC

Being as full of it as I've been all these years, I've hada lot of time to study on those things. Truth is that a chunk of 1" hose makes a better scope protector.Any pliant tubing big enough to wrap about2/3 around the scope - cut tofit the space betweenyour scope bases. Some bike tubes are even better.

Semi - you're in GOOD shape, don't let 'em kid ya.

You certainly got an industrial strenght sight, not "pretty" but I am sure it will work for you. Chap

I know this is an old thread but figured I would let you know the dog is going to hunt this year

Dang Shaprshooter, it's about time you pulled that one out of the closet. Have you shot it at all? If not, I think you will be pleased the first time out. I wish I could restore the pictures to this thread. But I no longer have them on my PC and didn't think to save them from Photobucket when they went commercial and I dropped my account.

I don’t remember ever shooting it . I figure I will try round ball and maybe some 420 ballets and see what it does . I figure I will try it for a short range deer ... 75 yards or less .
Gonna shoot some paper this week and see how it does
What load was the most accurate? I figured around 75 gr or thereabouts

if I have any problems with the sights I sure am glad the manufacturer has a lifetime no question asked warranty

Unfortunately I didn't keep the target file for that one. I don't recall ever shooting any Minnies or conicals out of it, just tightly patched balls. I think 90 grains of GOEX FFg was one of loads that shot really well.
