called for rain, and got a great day at the range

Corey, when you say that you've never shot anything at 100 yards, do you mean that you've never fired "any" type of firearm at 100 yards of just a muzzleloader? At any rate. Being handicapped, I can't handle a lot of recoil. You may find this silly but I try and go to the range as much as possible, relax and shoot one of my .22s at 100 tards. It teaches good form, patience and discipline and is a lot of fun to boot
. You can pick up a decent .22 rifle almost anywhere for a hundred buck or so. I try and do this before I shoot any other firearm. So, if you have one, give it a shot.

I got a ruger 96/22 lr, I gotta get it a new mag. I mainly shot at the max. distance that I know where I will be hunting. so I have shot a number at times at 75 yards once or twice shot my 30 - 06 at 100 yards. but I get myself wanting groups at 100 yards with the muzzleloader. it does not take me long to change and figure out what I need to change, next time I go to the range I am going to sight in at 100, I want to hit dead center.
damn it look at me, i am only planning to hunt at max at 75 yrds, get a group at 100, and I am wanting more
