Woodtick.. CVA should have a lot of good information for you. That information should be most interesting actually. And I am glad to hear you are willing to go that extra distance to learn more about the rifle for the safety of a friend. My regards to you on that...

Cayugad..Sorry I couldn't post a picture,but it resembles a CVA Bobcat, and a Traditions Deerhunter.However,both those rifles
have a straight grip,while the sharpshooter has a pistol grip.The Sharpshooter also has a better sight setup(different) than the other
rifles.She cleaned up really nice too.I even used some Flitz on the ouside metal surfaces. She has a lot of scratches ,but, still shines
nicely. I hope I get to shoot one day after work this week.
