An Omega Weakness...

I talked to T/C, the gunsmith at Gander Mountain and 2 other gunsmiths. Thay all said they have never heard of any of these problems. They said someone obviously messed with theirs and voided the waranty.....lmfao.. I believe that is 100 % true. Thanks for the "info"? Use the warranty! Not the workbench!

"To be fair T/C isn't the only muzzleloader maker with poor synthetic stocks. Savage and Traditions also have poor synthetic stocks. Ironically CVA has better synthetic stocks than T/C, Traditions, and Savage."
Have reinforced and floated the barrels on a bunch ofCVA guns for myself and my friends. Most of the older ones have really bad, highly flexible stocks. The CVA buck Horn is a good gun to work with because it has two action screws: The older CVA guns have only one screw.
The TC is available with a decent wood stock.

Gander mountain sells these products so they are going to tell you that there is no problem with the stocks when there clearly is a big problem. Ask gander mtn why some TC will shoot a conical ok while others couldnt hit the side of a barn at 10 feet. Its like going to a ford dealer and getting a story on how good the product is and then after you sign the papers and start to drive off the dealer comes running out and reminds you to keep an eye out for the tranny kicking in and out of gear because theres a possible problem with that model you just bought.

Ok...thanks guys. I'm sorry I got smart with you all. I was just getting frustrated.
I appreciate everything and know you are just trying help me. I understand what you are saying now. I already know that removing the barrel action can change the POI. My other two ML's are like that also. If I have any trouble I will try to get T/C to replace mine for the laminate stock. You guys are great and very knowledgable. Sorry I was being a D*CK! Sometimes I get a little excited when I think I made a bad investment. All in all everything will work out. Thanks for putting up with me!!

i didnt think u were being a smart butt or a mangina. The so called experts at the store were just feeding you a line to keep you happy. When you are into sales like them, you feed the customer anything to get them to buy it.
Just shoot it and once you notice either cracks or even the POI changing when you take the barrel off the stock, thats when you make the phone call and have the stock replaced with a good one.
Someone on here some time back was having problems with his cva kodak and after 2 replacement stocks, he got cva to replace it with a laminated stock. If cva can do that, i believe TC shouldnt have to even think about doing it also.
