Default RE: An Omega Weakness...

ORIGINAL: Buckhunter46755

I talked to T/C, the gunsmith at Gander Mountain and 2 other gunsmiths. Thay all said they have never heard of any of these problems. They said someone obviously messed with theirs and voided the waranty.....lmfao.. I believe that is 100 % true. Thanks for the "info"? Use the warranty! Not the workbench!
Well apparently your "gunsmiths" have not seen many Omega rifles as mine is one that will POI change with stock removal and reinstallation. In fact I just bought a stock screw torque screwdriver to try to keep it on the paper. When new it would group great. After a couple of years the POI started changing. I am chasing the cause but much appears to be the way the stock bends when rebedding the rifle to the stock. I did not do anything to the rifle or stock up to date that would void the warantee unless removing and reinstalling it does.At this point I intend to bed the stock and see if that will help. If I send it back to T/C they will shoot four or five sabots with Pyrodex and get a good group and send the rifle back. My groups are good they just don't end up at the same place after cleaning. Personally if I wanted a rifle I would buy a Knight KRB or the Triumph and would lean toward the KRB if wanting to shoot conicals or hunt Colorado.
