good for you. Hope that helps your shooting out. If it has an 8lb trigger like you say and they lighten in near the 3 3 1/2lb range, thats going to help out big time. Did you have to send the entire rifle or just the trigger assembly?

CVA/BPI has fixed a couple of my triggers. Although the last one I sent to them they turned a 12+ pound trigger into a -0 pound trigger. When it came back the next time it was 4 pounds which is fine.

Glad to hear they took care of you so well. Now get that gun back together soon we hope, and start shooting...

Another way to tweak a trigger that is fairly easy to try before sending it off for work is to take some powdered molly or graphite, use a toothpick or the like and put a little onto the mating surfaces within the trigger mechanism. I did that to my Magbolt and it cut the precieved trigger weight almost in half. I wish I had a trigger scale so I could verify the actual pull weight of it after lubing it. I did that over 2 years ago and it still has a nice feel to it and surprizes me when it goes off. I used the toothpick to rub the dry lube into the mating surfaces real well. I think this helps it self polish those contact points and smooths them out. It sure helped several of my rifles.
