Well, you should have asked for a hypothesis instead of a conclusion!!!!
I don't know, maybe a different shaped hollow point.
If UC was on here anymore, he'd have the answer, he knows everything.

Sabotloader - seeing as how you're all tied up in huddles, and I was curious, I did some homework for you. The sectional densities are identical at .175. Speer lists the BC at .165 and Hornady at .146.
My theory is the shooter believed in one bullet and not the other.
Cdaddy has agreed to administer a blind test with you as the shooter, varying bullets loaded, and on occasion leaving out the primer to check for steadiness. 5 of each bullet will be shot. If one of the bullets groups farther from POI than the other, you will wash his truck. If all bullets travel through a single hole, he will wash yours.
Seriously, what's your theory on this odd grouping?

SL- our posts all but crossed in space. In your picture, the nail inclined on the left from the Nosler to the Hornady isn't touching the Speer! No visual tricks allowed here. My theory survives ... the test will commence at the Rockpit....soon.

Dang! I was going to bet the Hornady had the better BC...
And I swear I was not trying to throw anything askue - it just a happened that way.... I know I have shot better groups with the Hornady 250's but those groups were powered by 100 grains of T7 not the 110 that I shot these with.
I have the Remington all put back together and am going to try to get out in the morning but it might not be until thursday...
You would trust Cdaddy???? - he is a rebel - worse than I am....
