I really wanted that pretty flower stockSabotloader got for his rifle.[&o] I think it was painted by Jackson Pollock. Other then that I got plenty of spare parts. :D:D

All joking aside, I have a very good friend who is a "machinist." The things he can make on his metal lathe and in his shop is most impressive. He is one of these, show him something and he will reproduce it. So I am pretty sure of my part supply. He's also my, when I brake something he puts it back together. I might give him the spare hammer from my White and see if he can reproduce it.A trigger would be another matter all together though I think.

well there you go MLkeith, That tells us that you have one to many and need to sell that poor soul one.
I bought the second 97 just to have the spare parts but it is such good shape that I now need a parts rifle so I am still in the market. Of course now when I go to the range (if it ever cools down) I will have to shoot three Whites instead of just two. I don't think there is a way to have too many Whites. Just looking at the quality of build is impressive by itself. If you have a mechanical background and know a little about machining the difference from even what T/C makes is obvious. My only complaint is that all the laminated stocks are about 3/4 inch too short for me. I am installing 1/2 inch of spacer between the stock and a Limbsaver pad but having to grind them to fit the stock is a little touchy.

I know of an excellent conical shooting rifle that just came up for sale. It will shoot great plains, powerbelts and tc maxi hunters, sst sabots with excellent accuracy. Give me a pm and lets talk.

Thanks fellas. Been lurking on here for a couple years. Just never registered until I recognised a few "heathen's" postin'. :D Alot of great knowlege here too! ;) Yeah,,,,I've got a couple of them White things. 3 S91s in .504 and 1 in .451. (Yeah,,,I like the S91s) Also have an Ultra-Mag in .504. That's my plastic shooter. She LOVES the 300gr. Barnes Expanders! I just can't bring myself to put plastic in the 91s though. :( Have a couple sidelocks and a custom flinter too. I like 'em all!

Okay, Cayugad,,,,,,I got VERY lucky on this pig using the .451 Super91 squirrel rifle. I was using a 488gr. Bullshop conical on top of 70gr. of Swiss 3F. Shot was around 35-40 yards away, with another guy hollerin' "shoot that SOB!" (I think he was scared...:D:eek:) The hog was facing me, looking mad,,,but I waited until he turned,,,or took another 3 steps forward,,,,whichever came first.[:-] This was my first hog hunt using that puny gun. (I guess I just felt a rush of tostesterone or had a death wish) :D The one I got the year prior using the .504 never knew what hit him.. I never thought I'd have a pig mounted, but everybody there was gonna kill me if I didn't. [:-] I never thought a pig looked good,,,but the hair and coloration on this one was actually beautiful. I should have it in a week or 2. I'll post a pic when he gets here.
