First Deer!!!!
#1
Last season I was fortunate enought o harvest my first deer. It just so happens that I was using a muzzleloader. My T/C Omega .50 put the whack on this buck at about 100 yds. He went only 20 yds or so then toppled over. I have been hunting since I was 12 but it didn't all come together for till I was 16. Man what a rush it was.

Your hooked now.
Nice first time buck. Not sure what state your in but here in MO I'm in an antler restricted zone where I hunt in which we cannot shoot a buck unless it has 4 points on one side, so basically an 8 pointer or better. I know the excitement you must have had when he came near, just wait as it gets better as they are bigger. The knees shake and you can hardly breath, heckI still get that way when I see a nice mature doe within range. Good luck this year, as it will be here soon. If you bowhunt our season starts mid September in the 90 degree heat. Can't wait but the heat is awful.
