The Barne's original is a 45-70 rifle bullet it has an exposed lead tip
Its been around forever. I use the MMP orange sabot. This bullet has to be pushed as its very tough and needs some speed to open up. I never
recovered one from a deer as they always go thru. I have shot a few out of a White and they are very accurate but never shot an animal with that load.
