Default CVA Optima elite

Hey everyone i found out this fathers day im getting a new gun for fathers day sweeeet and im looking at the new cva optima elite interchangable barrels but know nothing can anyone help also im leaning towards the the 308 barrel or the 30.06 for it but i need to know anything about this gun before i tell her to purchase it.

I don't have one of the elites but what I've read about them sounds good. You might want to check out this link and maybe post your question over there in addition to reading the posted info.

Well aparently the new cva optima elite as just as good as the T.C or Omegas so ill wait and see some more results.

I am sure the rifle will be just fine. As for the caliber, I like the 30-06 only because of the cartridge selection. Although the .308 is a great caliber as well. Good straight shooting, hard hitting, and hard to beat for deer and other game animals. Both would do you well, just a preference on my part for the 06.

Go to Graybeardoutdoors.com and there is a thread there strictly for CVA firearms. A lot of guys there shoot the Elite. Sounds like CVA may have done it right on this firearm.

cva elite is my next rifle. Im going to get the 30-06/ .50cal combo.
