I have decided I really need a new barrel. (I know I have said this before but this time I really am). I already have a 54cal so I do not need another and I am not going to get a 50cal. My mind is made it is a 58cal. GM or TC? I will mostly shoot roundballs but the TC would be nice because it is shorter and I could try conicals if I wanted. I am leaning toward GM. What do you all say?

Are you looking for a .58 per or flint as there's a TC .58 flint barrel on E-Bay that has fired only 75 rds. or so it says.Item #200090598181 Harold

I BEEN HEARING THE GM BARREL ARE NOT WHAT THEY WERE WOULD MAKE SURE WHEN ORDERING A 58 CAL. BARREL NO HELICOIL INSERT.
I WOULD CHECK OUT T/C AND SEE WHAT THERE PRICES ARE AND MAKE SURE NO QLA AT THE END OF THE BARREL

This one was ordered without the QLA I think.What is a heli-coil insert? Is this only in flinters ?[GM's]Don't know a lot about BP yet............Harold
