I've handled the omega x-7 and like the way that feels. I'm a little shorter than you daughter (5'4"). Many guns feel way too bulky and a little long in length of pull. It's pretty important that she shops and feel tests some guns out. I do well with thumbhole stocks. NEF sidekick, as already suggested, maybe a possibility. A knight disc rifle is also a solid choice. I do not own one, but on many occasions talked myself out buying one. At times, they are heavily discounted on price.
