The Rems and CCIs are pretty good. But these below are real good.

I had some left over Remington #11 that claimed to be 40% hotter or some bull like that. Well that's all fine and good if they would go off when you fire them. I had too many misfires with them.

I use cci most of the time, but I do have Remington caps that I use in my Remington700ML with 3f triple seven. I haven't had any problems with them as long as I don't forget to clean my bolt afterwards, buts thats another story all together. They work in my Lyman as well.

I found a distributor for the RWS 1075 caps in Tulsa but he doesn't have any in stock. I'm trying to get him to order them and carry in stock. If it wasn't for the HazMat fee I'd order some online.

When they arrive, you will notice an immediate difference - both external with your hearing and your eyes - internal with faster ignition - plus the way they fit so well and sometimes incinerate - allowing next-to-nothing cleanup. They are noticeably louder and show more eyeball firepower too.
Once you go there - you never go back to anything else again!

RE: Remington #11 Caps
I haven't touched a Rem #11 cap in about ten years. A bunch of us bought some when the local store ran out of CCI's, all of us had problems with misfires, and having them actually fall off the nipples of our sidelocks, they were simply too loose. I wrote to Remington describing the problem we were having,I finally got a form letter back wanting a lot number from the "ammo"I had used. We all used them up by shooting them from the bench when we were shooting target just for fun. Between the ones that went off, and the ones we threw out, we finally got rid of them, haven't bought any since. Never had a problem with the CCI's in any of my sidelocks, I'll stick with them. Hope the new Rems are a heck of a lot better than the the oldones.
