What do you guys think of these bullets? I used them last year and was not impressed with their performance on game. I have 2 friends that killed an 11 and a big 9 point this yr with these, and their stories are almost identical. Both deer acted like they had not even been hit, the 9 didnt even move, he just stood still for 30+ seconds then fell over. The 11 walked off like nothing was wrong but expired in a thicket 50 yds away. Obviously both deer were dead, as both shots were dbl lungers but the shockwaves and the sst's just seem to be poking holes. I found the same results last year, what are you guys experiencing?

Check out the bullet hole I had recently on a doe shot at 70 yds. It went clean through and she made it another 50 feet. I thought it was a good entry and exit but when I processed her out the entire front quarters where bloodshot and it looked like jelly. I was using the Bonded type in 250 grains. These do their job and the impact is incredible. They hold up well based on the bullet holes I've experienced. Blood trails are usually no problem if they are hit in the kitchen.

I have very good results from them, and from XTP's; all ways remember the loads people use and the one needed to get a bullet to the velocity at which it works best may very widely. I wish some one with access to this info would put it on here. I use 130 gr RS or APP FF which gives me a bit over 2,000 fps according to my old chrony. Lee

Hey Lee,
I agree with you 100%. The 9 point was shot with a 250 shockwave over 80grs of 777, the 11 was shot with a 250 sst over 100grs of app 2f loose.
