Default platinum powerbelts, terminal performance

I have started using platinum powerbelts in my Omega, but have yet to put them through an animal. Anyone have any real life experience on an animal yet?

i havnt used the new powerbelts yet but if the old ones did a great job on my deer, im betting the new ones will do just the same. Get a nice double lung shot on it.

Two poster reports elsewhere. Both were pass-thrus using 120 and 150 grains- both had exit holes that mirrored the entry holes.

Most wouldcall thatnot good - despite two deer harvests.

I have shot four deer with the new platium 270 aero tip, with 100 gr 777 pellets, i have recovered two of the deer lost the first doe broadside at 50 yds dropped her and her other deer 10 min later there was no sign of her just a lottle blood but i never found her. The other was a nice buck in va 30 yds quarter towards me ( i know bad shot to take) this deer flatened out at the crack of the gun 10 sec lated it was running away very little bloog and i never recovered the buck. Now on the other hand i shot another nice buck broadsid in va he never seemed to know he was hit thill he fell 30 yds away nice blood trail, the other buck in ky was shot stright under my tree between the shoulders dropped within 20 yds nice blood trail. The to i lost was ws me im sure due to shot placement, i believe you will have no problem... chris
