Can pyrodex pellets be used in a TC Hawkins?

Hello,
I use 85 grains of pyrodex powder in my TC Hawkins and was wanting to
know if I could use two 50 grain pellets and achieve similar results. I shoot
320 grain tc maxi-balls.

No.. the Thompson Center Hawkins is not really designed for pellets. If you want to shoot pellets get a Firestorm ora Tradition's PA Pellet. Even then they suggest you duplex the load.
The problem you will have is with the design of the rifle you would not get consistant ignition in the breech with pellets. Stick with the loose powder and save a little money at the same time.
