Default Triple 7: powder or pellets???

Just wondering what everyones opinion is? I am using 2 50 grain 777 pellets in my encore with a 300 gr t/c shockwave sabot. I was wondering if I switched to 777 powder would that be equal to 85 gr of loose 777 powder. And would like to know if people are liking the powder more vs the pellets, other than the ease of loading them. Do u think 100 gr of loose powder would be enough for that load i shoot usually 100-150 yd shots, or should I up it to say 120 gr.

You are probably pretty close on 85 grs of loose being equal to 100 grs of pellet 777. A 100gr load, of loose 777, behind a 300gr Shockwave should be pleanty, a 120 gr load would be a max load in your encore. The advantage to loose powder is that you could work up to a 120gr load, in increments of 5grs, to get the best accuracy. The loose powder also ignites a little easier than pellets and it is quite alot cheeper per shot.
