Default Anyone Used Triple 7 Pellets Yet?

I was wondering if anyone has tried Triple 7 pellets yet? I have been using (2) 50 gr. Pyrodex pellets in my Knight .50 cal Disc rifle with good results and am thinking about trying Triple 7 pellets. I would appreciate some feedback from anyone who has already tried Triple 7 pellets and what to expect. Thanking everyone in advance who replies.

I came in here with the same question. I just saw them advertised in my American Hunter magazine from the NRA. I guess they' re so new, hardly anyone has experiece with them yet. This post will put it up top and we' ll see if there are any responders...

NO, and I won' t. I have had too much problem with excessive fouling with T7 in ALL of my guns, much worse than withPyrodex!!

My problem with those pellets is last year, they shot out of my buddies rifle while still burning![]
His charge was three pellets and consistently had the problem with only two of them burning IN the barrel while the 3rd one came out with the bullet.
One time it actually started a brush fire.
They may be better now, but I' m sticking w/ Pyrodex pellets.

Mlaubner, you couldn' t get pelletized 777 last year. They just offered them for the first time this spring. Maybe you' re thinking of another brand. I' m friends with JB Hodgdon and even he couldn' t get me a box until last month.

You know, I started thinking about that after I posted, and you are right. It was a different brand. I asked the guy who used them and he couldn' t think of the name of them. I will find out and post the correct information. Sorry.[X(]

Chris Hodgdon sent a box of the T7 pellets about a month ago. To be honest I think I will stay with Pyrodex or Blackpowder. They do burn cleaner as advertised but I am getting inconsistent velocities out of my White, T/C, Traditions, CVA and Austin & Halleck inlines. I don' t have this problem with Pyrodex or regular blackpowder.

Too much fouling with 777. Clogged my nipple believe it or not. I will stay with my old regular pyrodex.
