Here in Texas, Archery Season Started the first week in October. Gun season starts the first weekend in November. We have a 2 week ML season for spikes and does after the General Gun season is over in January.

M/L season opens on 28 October in OK. I also hunt on Ft. Sill, OK. Season opens on Ft. Sill on 14 October. Got a line on a nice buck at our place in Garvin county. With any luck I will get him with a bow before M/L season opens.

Good Luck

Hey Buellhunter, you must be a Pennsyboy as well. The wife and I are going out Saturday and have a go at it. Flippin' a coin as to what I'm gonna carry. Maybe a .50 Renegadeflint...maybe a .50 Scout...depends on the weather. Good luck to you...BPS
