Because of reading some reports by very informative posters on this forum, I finally got a pound of that Shockey Gold, a pound of American Pioneer FFFg, Black Mag 3,two of Pyrodex P, and a couple pounds of Triple Se7en 3f so I will be trying it out in the very near future.

Do you find the Shockey Gold more powerful then other powders or is it like a Pyrodex RS VS Pyrodex Select comparative?

Shockey's Gold is faster than pyrodex and ranks up about 777 in speed.

It works fine in a limited style of ML -- with a light to moderate bullet grain size.
