I'll call Cabela's see if I can modify the order.
Thank you all for catching that.

T7 I have one of those thingy's from cabela's. You are right it is not necessitty but if you get plactic or lead fouling it is a real help getting it out of the groove's. i have a friend that did not lube maxi balls very well and I worked with brushes and a lead remover work on the lands fine The Chief one did the trick just a different out look.

You are the first to offer a report on that "thingy". Thanks!
What's also nice about them is nosmell/intake thru the lungs or nasal membranes-- plus noskin contamination from the harsh copper/plastic solvents.

If you really want to save money. I recently picked up 100ct. Hornady 230 grain XTP in a box for $16.00 and bought 2 bags of 50 each Knight High Pressure Sabots for $6.99 a bag. The bullets are .451 Caliber and the sabots are 50 cal for use with .451 to .452 cal. Shooting 1" groups @ 100 yards with 100 grains of 777 pellets(2x50gr.). 1 in 28" twist barrel. HAPPY HUNTING!!!!!

If you could slug your bore in that Huntsman using a Maxi and you want a source of high quality reasonably priced conicals - take a look at Bull Shop's offerings. He can size from a bit over .504 to .500 and you might be pleasantly surprised athow well they shoot. My Huntsman handles the recoil from a big conical very well.

I have a correction for my previous forum entry...My rifle is a 1 in 24" twist instead of 1 in 28" and my barrel is 26.5" long. Very good quality and at an inexpensive price. I highly recommend the Cabela's Rolling Block Muzzy to all...

Cheap AND good bullet?
Try a plain old XTP. Last night I killed a doe at fifty yards. Bullet was a 240gr XTP, packaged as a TC MagExpress. High shoulder hit, deer was DRT - didn't take a step. Shattered all those bones/ribs that come together at the shoulder, and part of the backbone - found bullet under hide in front of off shoulder - perfect mushroom, looked like one of those pics in an ad. Couldn't ask for better performance. It was propelled by 90gr Pyrodex RS in a CVA Buckhorn.
LATER EDIT: Killed a spike with TC CheapShot - they shoot as well as XTPs in my rifle, and appear to kill deer just fine. I'm using them for my next hunt.
