RE: Omega Scope Protector?
In a word, no. Mine sure dont and I have the cheap version a Z5 walmart cost me $160. Planned on using it for trading stock after I played with it for a while; but it changed my mind, it will actually shoot better than the hunting scope I put on it. Lee

RE: Omega Scope Protector?
No blowback from my Omega. I do get a trace of primer residue on the scope-bottom near the 3-9 dial-- enough to show a little black on a cleaning patch after around 20 shots -- but the good news is that primer residue is non-corrosive. I also get a trace on the upper part of my trigger assembly & firing pin door, but again.... real easy cleanup & non corrosive.
