All I own is an Omega but with the 209 I get some residue on the scope. with the 25 ACP I get zero blowback as long as I swab the barrel with the 25 ACP case in it. After I swab the barrel I dump the case and load. This is from running a q-tip in the action and having it come out white. It seals really good for me. I wish my other muzzleloaders sealed the blowback out as well. Although with them the blowback is more limited on where it can go. With the Omega I've had black fouling under the barrel all the way to the ramrod. It's not a big thing but removing the stock every time I clean shifts the POI too much. I don't remove the stock till after the season is over.

BEEN SHOOTING IT FOR ABOUT 7 MONTHS, so far it blacks the area around the 209 but nothing in the firing pin or action; is this problem time or number of shots related? I have shot 4 pounds of powder through it so far.
It will shoot better than I can I only have a 2.5 power scope and it will hold an inch @ a 100yd when I am shooting good. I sure hope it dont start blowing into the action. Lee

Is there any residue on the area around the firing pin? If so there's a good chance it's in the compartment housing the pin. You pulled the pin and checked it? Mine got all kinds of garbage in it when I was shooting 209's. Nothing now but I still check every now and then.

245 Barnes Spitfire and100 gr of FFG 777. Mine also likes the 250 Shockwave with the same powdercharge.

Your probably fine then. I had stuff getting into the firing pin area and underneath the barrel. The inside of the action, that L shaped area in the pic above was always coated with residue.

I have been shooting 120g Triple Se7en FF with projectiles that have a minimum weight of 250g in my Encore with great results and 100g of the T7 with bullets over 250g in the Omega. I only have shot the Omega twice so far and I am setting it up to be an open sighted rifle. I actually put the sights from my Encore barrel on it and second time out I am getting less than two inch groups with the thing at 50yds.

Obviously it needs a little more work to break it in but my goal is about 2-3" at 100yds with the open sights and sub 1" at 50.

I am not going to put a bunch of time or money into the Omega it is a cheap plastic stocked rifle that is going to be for very bad weather or brush situations. I will also use it as a loaner. Last year I let someone use my Scout and that good deed was rewarded with a scar on the butt stock by a ring the guy I loaned it to was wearing.

So far the Omega is very promising in the roll I intend to use it and my best hunting buddy all the sudden thinks he needs a loaner rifle lol.
