Doegirl is that a ruger 77/50 at the top. How does it shoot. I saw that cdnn has some for sale at some good prices. They would seem to be a strong muzzleloader and you know the quality is good. I have just wondered about the accuracy. Any imput would be helpful.
Nope,;) it be an Encore. I don't believe the 77/50 is in production any longer. The 77/50 is a bolt action gun with that distinct metal band around the stock and barrel. I think you are mixing up my Encore with the Ruger #1. FYI-Herman's pic a few posts back shows an Encore and a 77/50 together.

RE: Pics of your Rifle and Gear

I just sent AmericanPioneeran email a few minutes ago.
For anyone else that can find one and want one I think they are very fine muzzleloaders. When I was shooting it I didn't have a pc to take pic's of the targets but I did have some one hole groups@100 yds with it.Took 7 deer with it from 20 to 70 yds,all head shots.Let a friend use it one day to hunt with and he shot it before going into the woods at 50 yds he was dead center of the target,he didn't get a shot at adeer and when he shot it that night to unload danged if he didn't put it in the same hole.
Only thing wrong with it was that the trigger was so heavy (8 lbs) I posted it for sale twice in the gun and bow adds but didn't get a taker so I decided to fix the trigger and now wouldn't sale it at all.Going to have to get it out and shoot it some soon, took the encore out last week and shot it some with a bullet I had been wanting to try in it,even got a one holer with it again.I have 2 savages and I like shooting them so much that I just put the encore and ruger on hold.
I am at the range from one to three days a week and you would think I would have plenty of time but like tomorrow I have 2 fellows to help set up 3 muzzleloaders a 30/06 and a 270.And if it goes fast I may have time to shoot one of mine.
