Default Kleenbores Cheap!

Today I just happened to stop in my local Dick's Sporting Goods and saw that they were dumping all their stock of Remington Kleenbore 209 primers for $0.95/100. You read right...$0.95! The first pack of these that I bought when they came out I think I paid around $4.60/100. So, I bought all they had. Should keep me in primers for awhile!

[&o] some guys have all the luck. Last season when Wal Mart put them on sale for $2.99 instead of $4.99 for the Kleenbore primers, I bought all they had. I think there was six packs. At the price you got I'd of had them check the back store room too..

Excellent purchase there on your part!!!

When K-Mart first opened their stores, they had a great selection of hunting & shooting stuff. They stopped selling guns, etc., and ended up banckrupt. IF Walmart follows that same pattern, I predict that they too will eventually bite the dust.......

How are cleanbore primers at lighting off bigger charges of loose powder? I use 110 grains of 3fg 777 and it works great with the normal CCI 209, just don't want to switch and have something bad happen at the wrong moment.

loose powder.. I have not had any problem at all with the Remington Kleenbore Primers setting it off. I shoot 120 grains of Triple Se7en 2f in my Knight Disc without any problem. There could be a problem with pellets if there was a lot of moisture. Not that they will not set them off, but if hunting I would want a hotter primer like the Winchester W209 if hunting with pellets. The Remington's and loose powder seem to be made for each other.
