New Kahnke
#1
I received my K2000 today from Gordon Kahnke. What a piece! It is very differant looking. The craftsmanship is great. I hope it shoots aswell as it looks. It only weighs 5.75lbs. Cannot wait to shoot it.

I have never seen one.. perhaps you could post a few pictures of it and give a little more info about it like barrel twist, barrel lenght, ignition system, etc....
Congratulations on the new rifle?

Here is one pic of the kahnke, I ended up getting the crud from my kid! Everyone is healed now. I think I am going to buy a Aetec Scope for it. I have a Prostaff on my Omega, but I looked at the Aetec and was impressed. I am going to try some Dead Center 220 -260gr in it as well as 250-300 sst. I have to wait until weather breaks though.

Well that's just a fine looking rifle you have there. With that Green Mountian Barrel I am sure it will be a good shooter. Something you might want to try just for fun mind you, if you have some .490 roundball around, try shooting them with 50 grains of powder and a patched ball. The accuracy might surprise you at close ranges and its a comfortable load for young people to shoot as well...
Good luck with your rifle.

Underclocked,
He has no website, however, he will send you a brouchere or I can email you one. He does not list the K2000 yet because he considers it still a prototype. He has made 41 of them, and one came back. He admitted that the one that came back should never had went out. By the way, I put a Nikon Buckmaster 3x9x40 on it today.
