Yesterday I got up early and went to the range. Today would be the first day shooting my .44 BP pistol. When I got to the range I was happy to find out the two range officers that day were also the NRA BP guys that teach all the classes you can take.
Well the range was empty so the three of us loaded up,
I loaded my 44 with 22 grains, a lubed wad, and a hornady ball. # 11 cap pulled the hammer and BOOM I was hooked !!! a puff of smoke and a hole dam near dead center on my targer. Spent the rest of the morning shooting.
The range officer let me shoot his 50 cal flintlock pistol WOW that was nice.
Thanks for answering all my questions over the last month, I got out to the range and did not look like a total noob

usmcColorado,
Sounds like your hooked alright
Yesterday was nasty here in N. Illinois and I debatedif I should go or not. I'm glad I got off the couch and went. Any day you can get to the range is a good one.
I might have to get out my .44 BP revolver myself this afternoon....sounds like fun.
