Does anyone have any info or opinions on the Italian inline rifles. I have been shooting an Italian Hawken for 21 years without a single missfire or any problems whatsoever. Are they made by the same company?

Are you talking about Ovation muzzleloaders? I think one model was the Brutus, and one was Denali or something like that? These are made by Davide Pedersoli I believe. I have heard good and bad about them. For the money it is hard to beat a Thompson Center, Knight, or some of the other American brands out there.

What make and model are you talking about? Perhaps someone has on hands experience with one.

I believe they are made by Palmetto Ams. A friend of mine has an FFL and I saw it in one of his flyers, all it says is 22" barrle 1 in 28 twist .50 cal. 8 lands and .009" deep groves wood stock removable breech for cleaning. Flyer claims one of the nicest blackpowder rifles they've seen. thats all I know.

I did some reading on Palmetto Arms. A very interesting company to say the least. I did not find any information on the inlines but revolvers and pistols they definitely do make. They also had some civil war replicas that were very well made it appeared.
