Look what the mailman brought me.

Lyman down in the states were true to their word. That being, delivery within 10-14 days upon receipt of order. 10 days on the button.
It was really hard to find a lefthanded rock chucker (in Canada)but I have one now!!!!Wooohoooo!!!!!
50 cal w/1:48 twist. Going to Stittsville tomorrow (a local range and supply store) if the weather holds to get some BlackPowder of the original kind.

Looks like you got yourself a Deerstalker Lyman Rifle there, and a mighty fine looking one it is. I think you are going to have a lot of fun with that rifle. Be sure and check the thimble rib screws and make sure they are not loose. That was the only problem my Lyman gave me.
My Trade Rifle with the same twist likes 90 grains of Goex 2f (notice I did not say 3f.. one of the few rifles that really does shoot better with 2f) and a patched roundball. This is an excellent shooting rifle. Good luck with the rifle and keep us posted on how the rock lock shoots...
