I have to disagree with eldequello. I say this because i shoot a CVA Hunterbolt and i can match any other modle or make of gun. I have shot 150 grains out of my gun and have never had any kind of proplem with it. In my personal experience i would buy a CVA over any make of muzzleloader. Keep in mind that CVA Hunterbolt also is the number one selling muzzleloader of all time.
Wow, people are almost as sensitive over thier gun as they are thier children.

I agree. Let's not turn this thread into a CVA defense and prosecution thread. Different topic.

The question was not whether CVA or any other manufacturer was good or not.

The question is/was aboutrunning out to spend more money on something else when you are getting a great deal on a great ML that you already know how it performs, from someone you personnally know.

What a turkey!! No doubt his CVA will kill the critters 'deader" than the Knight...................... (In an inline, I'd take aKnight any day over any CVA-matter of fact, I'd take nearly anything over a CVA!)
dont start downin my CVA. thats the best black powder rifle ive ever shot.and by far the most accurate.
