I'm glad you pickedup on thisin my post and answered it for me.
All I could think of was, maybe the larger dia.balls used a wad or
something in place ofa patch and the ball itself cut into the rifling.
I had no idea the bore diameter varied within a caliber.
I was alwaysled to believe a 45 was a 45 so to speak.
