Default The right caliber

Looking to buy my first inline ML this offseason (probably going with the (T/C Encore)and was wondering what is a good recommendation as far as caliber goes for deer, bear and possibly elk?I'll probably never use it for elk but was just curious.

For elk, many states, like PA and CO, REQUIRE at least a .50..... There are also a lot more projectiles you can choose from if using a .50.

Even though I own a 54 I recommend a 50. Much more on the shelf choices in local dealers and box stores.

Based on your hunting needs, and since this is an Encore or even an inline of any make, the .50 caliber is the right choice IMO.

Go with the 50. It is a real popular caliber and you can hunt more game with it.

Thanks for the input. I'll go with the .50.
