Knight will send you a manual with load data if you ask them. I have the load data though and can give you the loads they have. They will tell you that 60 gr of 777 is the max. I'm using 60 gr of FFFG 777 and a 240 XTP. I get 1347 fps and 967 Ft. lbs at the muzzle.
50 Gr. FFFG Black Powder 240 gr. XTP 1115 fps/662 Ft. lbs Muzzle

I recently found and purchased a pair of Hawkeyes, I have tried 70 grs. Pyro RS with a 240 XTP and 60 grs. 777 and same bullet Both gave good results at 40 yds.
Wolfhound, On the data I recieved from Knight all it listed was FFF black powder with a max load of 80 grs. Would that make the Max on 777 more like 70grs.?

I was specifically told that 60 was max for FFFG powder. 70 Would be max for FFG powder.
PATRICK, WE THINK YOU SHOULD MAX. AT 60 GRS. OF 777 FFFG....70 GRS IS MAX. CHARGE SUGGESTED 777 FFG

Hey Wolfhound, have you tried pellets in it yet?

I just like Triple Seven loose powder. I don't have to buy a different type for every gun I shoot. I use the FFG in my 2 inline rifles and FFFG in my Hawkeye and sidelock.
