Default FIRST MUZZLELOADER(CVA .45 CAL KODIAK)

I just purchased my first muzzleloader a CVA .45 cal Kodiak. Can anyone help me on what to use pyrodex or 777 and what grain. The same goes for bullet.

Try 100 grs. two pellets of either 777 or Pyro and Perceision Deadcenter bullets in 220 gr. Works great in mine.

I have a CVA MagBolt .45 from last season (my first ML as well), and I use 100 gr 777 and the 200 gr TC Shockwaves which I've been VERY impressed with thus far.

I SHOOT A 45CAL CVA BEARTOOTH MAGNUM. I
THINK THAT IF YOU GET SOME POWERBELTS,
777 PELLETS, REMINGTON KLEENBORE PRIMERS YOU
WILL BE VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE 45. MINE
SHOOTS VERY FLAT, VERY FAST, AND VERY
DEADLY.

JBB,
Congratulations on your 1st muzzleloader! The CVA Kodiak is a very nice rifle and I've been tempted to purchase one myself several times. I sighted one in for a friend of minelast fall and the two projectiles that gave the best accuracy were the 225gr. Power Belt HP and the 220gr. Precision Dead Center.
I'd start out with 90gr. of Triple 7 and work my way up.
