Default Barnes sabots

Tried both the 50 cal Barnes(Traditions) 250gr Expanders and Barnes spitfire 285gr in my Omega. I loaded with great difficulty one Expander. The spitfire I pushed done about 5 inches - quit trying and pulled the bullet. Expander had a red sabot - Spitfire had a yellow. Gun was clean but for 2 caps.

Is there a better sabot for this bullet or should I try something else?

steve I had the same problem with my encore as far as loading barnes sabots. I have heard that the t/c's do not like the barnes bullets due to there tighter bore diameters. I took every alot of peoples suggestions on here and went wht the t/c shockwaves 250 gr is my choice with 100 gr of triple 7. I have done alot of range shooting and they are very accurate and great expansion also.

Use this sabot for easier loading. When you reach this site, order the 50-cal .452s.
