Default velocity question

Man, I love my new omega. I took it out for another range test this weekend. I thaught pelletswere shooting good at close to an inch at 100 yards, but the loose powder works even better. I was using 777 2f and three shots would pretty much touch at 100 yards. My question is how fast is a 200gr. shockwave with 120gr. of loose T7 2f moving? I think this will be my new deer load this season.

My guess is in the same range, but the only way to know for sure is by using a chronograph, since all guns are individuals.

If I remember.. someone chronographed one on a different board and big country and eldequello are right on the money. I remember 2235 that I jotted down so I could figure the trajectory chart of the bullet since I shoot 110 grains, I would cut the speed a little. That thing is really moving out there. And with that kind of accuracy, it is all you are going to need to shoot anything you might like.

Cayugad - were you shooting 3f or 2f Triple 7 with the 200 Shockwave?

I've never been able to get 3f Triple Se7en in my area. I will be getting some soon though. A person in the big cities is coming to visit over deer season in Novemberand I told them if they did not bring me a pound of Triple Se7en 3f and a pound of Black Mag3 that they need not bother getting out of their truck....

If you have a Gander Moutain near by try there for 3f. I went there Sunday to the Lansing MI store and they had 777 3f and Pinnicle 2 and 3f.
