Default N.E.F. Huntsman

Hey guys new to muzzleloading just a quick question about the N.E.F. Huntsman. I've heard alot of good about the sidekick is the huntsman just as good with the 24" barrel compared to the 26" on the sidekick? I can only get the huntsman were I am and just wanted to know if anyone knows if there is much difference in the performance of the two?

The Sidekick I believe has the 24" barrel and the Huntsman has the 26" barrel. They are almost basically the same rifle except the Huntsman can be sent back to the factory and fitted with centerfire barrels and shotgun barrels is my understanding. That is why it falls under the stricter mailing codes and needs to go to a FFL holder in the United States, where as the Sidekick in many states can be mailed to your door.

I personally have no first hand knowledge of their loads, but they should be very similar in nature. As for performance, they should also be very similar. The deer you shoot with it will never know the difference...

I have the sidekick it has a 26" inch barrel no different from the huntsman except it has a 24" barrel and like was said can be fitted with different barrels. I have got mine shooting 1" groups at 100 yds with 100 grains pyrodex and a 250 grain shockwave sabot.
