Sometime back there were a number of posts from folks having had a positive experience with service from Traditions. Just wondering if those posters would indicate whether they had corresponded with Traditions via email? or? I emailed them over a week ago to the contact info on their website - todate no reply.

I personally never had much luck with e-mail. I always preferred to get some PERSON on the phone. Then ask them their name and write that down. Then explain what the problem is or what I need. After that I like to deal with that same person until the problem is solved or untilI have to go higher up the food chain to get what I feel I need.....

cayugad - took your advice & called Traditions today re screws to fill the rear sight holes on my Pursuit LT. Very pleasant lady knew exactly what I was decsribing. Took my name & address and said they would be out in today's or tomorrow's mail. Assuming she meant what she said, I would have to say my opinion of their service will be a positive one.

I live a few miles from the Traditions customer service . They are very accommodating and have several gun smiths on their staff in Old Saybrook CT. As I have mentioned before if you are looking for a Traditions BP give them a call, they usually have a scratch & dent for significant discount. My Pennsylvanian LG was discounted a few $100 for a blemish in the wood that I have a hard time finding when I go to show someone.

I ordered a scope base from them when I got my Pursuit LT. They said they didn't have any, but would ship me one when they did and charge my card then. It came today, one piece base which I wanted. I had tried the piece and didn't like it.

I will say they are a bit slow on the e-mail. Give them a call. They always got back to me on e-mail, but I don't think they give much attention to e-mail. I have had excellent service when I call. Good luck.

Guess I should have wrote down the lady's name; nothing has arrived as yet. Since they are coming to the wilds of southern Manitoba, I guess I will give them 1 more week and then call again.
