There are many quality rifles out there. You have picked two of the good ones. If you insist on a break open design then you have two of the best. If you're willing to go to a different style of action there are countless others.

If you do not want to spend as much money but stay in the same break open design, then look also at the H&R Sidekick, Tradition's Pursuit Pro, CVA Kodiak, CVA Optima Pro, and the new Knight Vision is scheduled to come out at the end of the month.

I talked to a couple of persons that bought them and they said if they keep the loads around 100 grains they are good shooters. I think I would compare them to the Optima by the way they talked about loads in them. This is of course only from reading different posts on them.

I tried to buy one when they were on sale that one day but could not get through on the phone to pick on up for $99.95. All they had left when I finally got through on the phone were .45 calibers . Now I wish I'f got one, just to look at if for no other reason.

Are youconsidering only the fall/break-action rifles? That's what the Omega & Revolution are. Another Knight to consider is the Vision model.

A bunch of us on ML sites like this oneown Omegas. I would recommend the stainless/laminated modelin a heartbeat. Nice quality - nice accuracy -- nice lifetime warranty

The T/C Firehawk is a real good rifle. And for the price you got it for you did not go wrong. Besides, its a Thompson Center.. you have their quality service behind you should something go wrong.

My vote would be the Omega real nice gun and it has the most important feacher on it. It says T.C on it guarented for life. I can tell you I have used them for everything I own 12 T.C 's and wont own anything else. I bought a Black Dimond when they first came out and every time they do an upgrade I send mine to them and they upgrade mine for free even pay the shiping. I have a /Firehawk and it is a nice gun scoped it out and you should see the groupes I get, most people wish they could get their 30-06 to shoot that tight, and $75.00 forget about it you stole it. good luck Mike
